BSG Robin 429 represents the future of Bowman Superior Genetics. As a four year-old, 429 shows us optimum growth, an excellent udder and she is a quality-footed cow with great bone. This cow has a great rib and stout hip, while retaining a beautiful front end. Cattle with this kind of productivity, practicality and potency are highly desirable at BSG and though in her youth, 429 has earned every right to a stay in our donor pen. Her first two calves were both impressive daughters by DFS Red Rider 844 and her outcross, red pedigree presents a unique opportunity for Shorthorn breeding programs. Her dam, Waukaru Robin 455, is one of the most powerful Rodeo Drive’s that was ever flushed. The Doc Holiday cows at WHR last year were a hot commodity - and this one is THF. This cow is a real breeding piece and the only one that could replace Robin.

hady Maple and BSG partnered to bring 2036 home from the Jungels’ herd in North Dakota last fall. This cow’s production is the standard by which all Shorthorn cows in the F2F outfits are measured. She is potentially one of only two or three cows in history that has caught the attention of the entire beef industry - producing JSF Miner 0415E x – the purebred Shorthorn bull scanning a massive 17.1 inch REA at the National Western, a feat unmatched by any bull of any breed since. The daughters from this female in the Jungels herd are unreal and the only one ever sold now resides at Sullivan’s. 2036 is an outstanding egg producer – there were 20 calves by her at Jungels’ this year and her last flush produced 29 Grade 1 embryos.
